On the heels of her 2024 album Nothing Less Than Me, Natalie Inga unleashes a new single August 30 before hitting the road across Western Canada this Fall. Taking inspiration from 80’s femme pop/rock powerhouses like Annie Lennox and Tina Turner, Why Did You Have to Go is a happy sad song. Like the songwriter herself, this goodbye song is unabashedly hopeful, with blossoming horn lines, cascading keys, bold drums and a boppin’ bass line.
